I figure being six years late to the “adult coloring”
trend is better than nothing.
I made a coloring book! It's called Color the Counties (Or Equivalents): A
silly map coloring book, made using Python and shapefiles from the U.S. Census
Bureau.
These images are hyperlinks to their respective pages in the online version
of the coloring book. In the online version, the counties will light up if
you hover your cursor of them or click on them. This can be helpful in some
cases were counties are not contiguous (e.g. some
Michigan counties include islands in the
Great Lakes).
